Lynn Savoie, a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master's in Counselling Psychology, works as a District Behaviour Specialist for the Surrey School District. Prior to working for Surrey, she was a POPARD consultant (Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders) and a clinician for Child and Youth Mental Health. With two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to supporting neurodiverse students across public education, residential care, mental health clinics, and non-profit organizations. Her extensive background includes providing direct counselling services, conducting mental health assessments, and developing and implementing intervention plans. Lynn is also a registered facilitator for a variety of programs including PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills), Connect Parent, and Low Arousal Training and is certified to administer the CCI (a trauma-focused intervention planning tool for youth). She has additional clinical training in DBT, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Play therapy. Lynn enjoys soccer, waterpolo and traveling with her husband and adult children in her spare time.
